Our Hamilton Team Leader Wendy and her brother Robert walked 40 miles this weekend to raise funds for LAMH. Still time to sponsor them!
From Wendy’s Virgin Money page:
We are raising money for LAMH which is a local charity supporting people who experince mental illness throughout Lanarkshire.
We decided we wanted to walk the Clyde Walkway, from the Falls of Clyde to Partick in Glasgow
http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/glasgow/clyde-walkway.shtml
Since we were going to do the walk anyway, we thought it would be a good opportunity to try to raise funds for LAMH at the same time. Wendy works for the organisation, so we’re all well aware what a valuable service they provide.
We’re going to carry out the walk on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March, starting from the New Lanark side. I’d love to say weather permitting, but come rain, hail or shine, it’ll be on those dates.
